Saturday it’s fun for the whole family at the North Haven Fairgrounds for the:  Connecticut Sheep, Wool and Fiber Festival from 9am to 4pm. Events include ongoing demonstrations featuring fiber of all types, fiber tools, dyes, finished goods, soaps, herbals, local Connecticut cheese, and a variety of other quality items produced by small farms and businesses. This festival began in 1909 by the Connecticut Sheep Breeders Association as a program "to promote the keeping of sheep in Connecticut," and has evolved and expanded into a premier sheep and fiber festival. The even is a delightful agricultural and learning experience for the general public as well as shepherds and fiber enthusiasts.

Sunday join us for Gavin’s Home Make -Over Pasta Dinner

Gavin, a wonderful 9-year-old, suffers from Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy, and he needs our help. Gavin's Home Makeover Pasta Dinner will take place on Sunday, April 28th. Tickets are $20 each and include salad, pasta, meatballs, rolls and dessert. Purchase tickets to one of the three seatings to help this incredible cause!

Gavin is non-mobile and non-verbal, which confines him to being in a wheelchair or being carried by his family. Gavin's family has been working hard to give him the best life possible, but the struggles are real. Now that Gavin is older and growing, he needs our help. This fundraiser will help to give him his own bedroom, his own functional bathroom with a rail system, a new family kitchen functional for Gavin, front and rear ramps to get him in and out of the house safely (currently his parents carry him in and out), electronic equipment to help him communicate better as he continues to learn, and extra funds to help with his continuous medical services.

Great shows this weekend include The Book of Mormon at the Palace Theater in Waterbury through Sunday visit www.palacetheater.org AND of course Wicked at The Bushnell through May 12th – for tickets visit www.bushnell.org
