A convenience store manager in South Fort Worth, Texas, helped save a homeless woman during a winter storm after she was found frozen on the ground outside his store. The incident happened Thursday morning at Evans Food Mart, where manager Faris Hussain was alerted by a regular customer who recognized the woman, known locally as Bobbi.
Hussain ran outside and lifted Bobbi himself, later describing her body as stiff from the cold. He carried her into the store, where she slowly began to warm up and thanked those helping her, telling them she had been outside all night.
Police and paramedics later arrived and transported Bobbi to the hospital for treatment. Hussain says helping people in need is something he and his staff regularly do for members of their community.
