To celebrate his roofing company reaching $70-million in sales, Bob Schober of ProWest Roofing in Mesa, Arizona, decided to surprise strangers with cash. Over the course of this week, he’s handed out around $35-thousand, sharing the moments on social media. He says sharing his success has felt better than anything fancy he could have bought himself.
Schober started off the week giving out “Reverse Receipts” in front of a local Walmart, reimbursing shoppers leaving the store. Then on Tuesday, he declared it “Single Mom Tuesday” and went around town to give hundreds of dollars to single moms.
The business owner plans to keep going and hopes others with resources will help him reach his goal of $400-thousand in donations by year’s end. He says seeing the relief on people’s faces has become the most meaningful part of his success.
