Earlier this month, someone in Utah stole an electric wheelchair that had belonged to 11-year-old Axton Bird . . . a boy with a rare genetic condition that has limited his joint movement and weakened his muscles.
But after word got out, a couple of local nonprofits banded together to buy him a new one . . . and this one includes a few extra bells and whistles. Axton's parents say this was HUGE, because insurance wasn't much of a help, and they're living paycheck to paycheck. (Here's a local news report on this.)
