If you drive a lot, you're well aware that the roads in a lot of places are REALLY bad. But where are they the WORST?
A website just put out a list of the states with the best and worst ROAD CONDITIONS, according to data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
The state with the best roads is: Indiana, surprisingly. (It's unclear if they included the track of the Indianapolis 500.) (???)
Kansas is second, followed by South Dakota . . . Wyoming . . . Vermont . . . Tennessee . . . Idaho . . . Georgia . . . North Dakota . . . and Nebraska.
The state with the worst roads is: Rhode Island.
Hawaii is second, followed by New Mexico . . . Connecticut . . . Mississippi . . . Washington . . . Maryland . . . California . . . Pennsylvania . . . and Oklahoma.
