Netflix is the biggest streaming service in the world, with more than 300-million paid customers in more than 190 countries. While they offer thousands of titles to choose from, a few are so popular, they get viewers from around the globe and earn a spot on the platform’s prestigious most-watched list. And new research tells us which shows made the cut.
Netflix has ranked their 10 most-watched shows of all time, based on worldwide views within the first 91 days of being released.
- The list highlights how globalized online entertainment is today, as three of the top 10 are non-English shows.
- So, what is the most popular show of all time on Netflix? Season one of the Korean language hit “Squid Game,” which had an impressive 265.2-million views in the first 91 days it was out.
- “Wednesday” season one is second, with 252.1-million views, followed by “Squid Game” season two, which had 192.1-million views.
