If you know the story of the Beatles, you probably know that in 1962, they auditioned for numerous recording studios and were turned away. A rare and long-lost tape of one of those sessions has been found and we can hear it now for the first time. It's assumed that this is from the Decca Studios in London. John Lennon is on lead vocals of their cover of "Money". By the way, they recorded this on cellphone video.
Of Note: Rob Frith, owner of Neptoon Records, claims he found the reel-to-reel tape at a record store in Vancouver. It was labeled "Beatles 60s Demos". He says the quality of the tape is pristine, like "they are playing in the room." There are more songs on the tape. He said he'd personally hand it to Sir Paul McCartney if he ever stopped by.
