A Carrollton, Virginia, woman recently won a $2-million lottery prize from a Money Blitz scratch-off ticket that was mistakenly given to her by the store clerk, instead of the ticket she had requested. Kelly Lindsay was initially unhappy with the clerk's error, but soon “got over not being happy about it” when she discovered she’d won the game’s top prize after scratching the ticket in the parking lot. She opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1.25-million before taxes.
