We spoke with CEO Nikki Maloid, Plymouth Glass and Mirror talks about their event coming up on June 21st. Connecticut's Glass Experts | Plymouth Glass & Mirror
Plymouth Glass & Mirror Supports Veterans Through Dog Star Rescue’s Service Dog Program At Plymouth Glass & Mirror, community support has always been a core value. This year, they are proud to take their commitment to a new level by partnering with Dog Star Rescue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their service dogs. Through this partnership, Plymouth Glass & Mirror is sponsoring a service dog for a veteran in need, ensuring they receive a well-trained companion to provide invaluable support and companionship. In addition to sponsoring a veteran’s service dog, they are thrilled to announce that Plymouth Glass & Mirror will also be covering the veterinary care for 10 veteran service dogs for an entire year. This initiative ensures that these incredible animals, who dedicate their lives to assisting veterans, receive the medical attention they need to stay healthy and strong. A Mission of Support and Gratitude Service dogs play a crucial role in the lives of many veterans, providing assistance for mobility, PTSD, emotional support, and daily tasks. However, the costs associated with training and caring for these highly skilled animals can be significant. By partnering with Dog Star Rescue’s veteran service dog program, they aim to ease some of that financial burden and show their deep appreciation for those who have served our country. This initiative is part of their Glass for Good program, which supports local charities throughout Connecticut. For over 45 years, our community has trusted and supported them, and they are dedicated to giving back in meaningful ways. Through Glass for Good, they strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need, strengthening the bonds that make our community special. At Plymouth Glass & Mirror, they believe in giving back to those who have given so much for us. Sponsoring a veteran’s service dog and covering medical care for 10 service dogs is their way of expressing gratitude and ensuring that these veterans and their loyal companions receive the care and support they deserve. Join Us in Making a Difference. We encourage our community to learn more about Dog Star Rescue and their incredible efforts to provide trained service dogs to veterans in need. If you’d like to support this initiative, consider donating or volunteering to help make a lasting impact on the lives of veterans and their service dogs. Together, we can make a difference—one service dog at a time.
