Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Solana!

Meet your pet of the week, Solana!

Three-year-old Solana arrived at the end of August with her two kittens. During a rain storm, she and her kittens found shelter on a front porch. The homeowner was a Good Samaritan who gave Solana and her kittens shelter during their time of need. Once the storm had passed, they were brought to CHS Newington for an evaluation by the medical team. The medical team cleared her and her kittens for adoption. Now with plenty of love and care and her kittens being adopted, Solana is ready to snuggle up with you in her new home.

Soulful Solana will do well in a peaceful and quiet home. She is a shy and reserved kitty with lots of love to give once she warms up to you. Children over the age of fourteen who are gentle and respectful of pets will do well hanging out with Solana. While she has not had much experience with dogs or cats she may be willing to share her home with a furry friend.

If you're interested in Solana, she is available in Newington. See more at CThumane.org/adopt, or come visit in person. CHS is an independent nonprofit organization located in Newington, Waterford, and Westport and a reduced-fee Fox Memorial Clinic for owned pets, and is not affiliated with the government or any other animal welfare organizations. CHS’ work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.
