If you’re a fan of smooth or contemporary jazz or just looking for a great way to enjoy a summer day, don’t miss the return of the Brass City Jazz Fest, taking place on Saturday, August 3rd from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Library Park in downtown Waterbury.
This year’s Brass City Jazz Fest, now in its 5th edition, features an all-star lineup of jazz musicians from across the country and region, including Billboard #1 and 2023 Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year, saxophonist Vincent Ingala; Barry Eastmond, legendary producer, songwriter, and #1 hitmaker, who will be performing with friends; Ragan Whiteside, a jazz flutist who is a Billboard #1 and Best Contemporary Jazz Artist Award Winner and 2023 NAACP Image Award Nominee; and JJ Sansaverino, a prolific guitarist with multiple Billboard #1 hits and a dynamic stage presence. The festival will also feature a variety of artisans and business vendors, as well as food and drink options.
