Saturday, June 8th, Connecticut Open House Day is your golden ticket to exploring the state’s vibrant history, art, culture, nature, and beyond. Imagine hopping on scenic boat and trolley rides, cuddling with adorable farm animals, savoring delicious beer, wine, and food, and getting exclusive access to museums and entertainment venues. The Connecticut Science center will be celebrating its 15th anniversary from Wednesday, June 12th – Friday, June 14th. Everyone pays $15 General Admission! Heroes Unleashed: K9 Demo Day takes place on Saturday, June 15th! CT Science Center is proud to welcome our courageous canine heroes and their talented handlers for a day filled with tail-wagging fun. Prepare to be amazed as you witness these four-legged experts in action during dynamic presentations. Then, don’t forget to take part in a special Q&A session, where you can interact with both the dogs and their skilled handlers (Hosted by Renee DiNino from iHeartRadio). Through their agility, intelligence, and keen sense of justice, you will discover firsthand the incredible impact these pairs have on our community every day.

Celebrate Juneteenth: Freedom Day on Wednesday, June 19th with a day of discovery, learning, exploration, and fun! Explore the rich history and significance of Juneteenth through interactive exhibits, engaging workshops, and inspiring presentations. Enjoy hands-on activities that delve into science, technology, and culture, while also learning about the contributions of Black scientists, inventors, and leaders. The day will feature guest speakers, live demonstrations, and collaborative projects designed to foster curiosity and understanding. Everyone pays kids’ price for general admission.

Get ready to dive into summer fun at the annual Party on the Plaza on Saturday, June 22nd! Prepare for a day packed with lively activities and exciting attractions that’ll make your summer unforgettable. An extravaganza featuring giant inflatables, the hottest summer tunes, airbrush tattoos, interactive LIVE science demos, and classic carnival games. Plus, don’t miss a special appearance from Dillon (Hartford Athletics mascot), and princesses Ariel, Aurora, & Belle. Calling all dog lovers! Fetch your furry friend and join the Connecticut Science Center for Pups & Pints on the Plaza Thursday, June 27th – where tails will be wagging, and spirits will be high! Get ready for a howling good time with ice-cold brews from local area breweries, delectable treats, live music, and paws-itively awesome vendors catering to your four-legged pals. This event is open to pups of all ages, but you must be at least 21 years old and have proper ID to lap up the libations. Remember, all furry friends must stay leashed throughout the event.
