While the weather may have given us some false hope last week, when is the perfect time to start planting your spring/summer garden in our state?

According to the almanac "On average, your last spring frost occurs on April 23" (Source: Almanac) This average estimate is based on the Hartford, CT area.

If you are eager to get those herbs and vegetables started to bring to the dinner table, plant the seeds indoors and then transfer them outside once the weather once the weather gets warmer!
