We spoke with Laura Burban of the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter and Brandon Smith, founder of the 5K Run to Remember: In Honor of Our Beloved Pets, which will take place in Madison, Connecticut on Sunday, March 24th from 9-10:30am.
This 5k race/2-mile walk is in memory of, or in honor of our beloved pets. You are encouraged to bring a picture of your pet to pin to your shirt as you race through Madison's coastline. This race is on a very flat terrain, with minimal small hills. A professional timer will be present. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 175 registrants! Awards, snacks, and water will be provided. Check-in/same day registration opens at 8am. All proceeds will be donated to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford, CT
