Chirp is Good with dogs and also good with children!
OMG, this micro pooch will make your heart flutter! Say hello to Chirp, an adorable 2 year old female Pomeranian. Fully grown, this gal weighs a whopping 11 pounds after dinner and boasts a beautiful, medium length blonde coat.
Found as a stray, Chirp is a happy girl who will dance around, leap into your arms and give kisses. A true snuggle bug, she enjoys children and other dogs. Her attitude toward cats is unknown. Chirp loves her leash time and is now working on her house and crate training.
Chirp will thrive in a great home where there is a commitment to training, exercise and providing plenty of socialization and affection. A confident girl, Chirp is sure she will find her forever home soon. And we think she is right! Ready to apply?

About Dog Star Rescue
Dog Star Rescue, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, is a dog rescue organization based out of the Hartford CT area. We work closely with shelters in the South as well as New England states to save the lives of loving and loyal dogs who have lost their way and find themselves on death row. Our team of wonderful volunteers get these adoptable dogs the medical and emotional care they need so they can transition into a loving forever home. To date we’ve placed over 4,000 dogs with new families.
All of our amazing volunteers are unpaid and donate their time because of their passion for helping dogs. They spend significant time each week helping guide dogs to a wonderful new life. If you ask our volunteers, they’ll tell you they do it for a wide variety of reasons, including personal satisfaction in helping address a nationwide problem, their love of dogs, and a desire to have fun socializing with like-minded people. Dog Star is always looking for new volunteers to join our group, so if you would like to be a part of our organization, please check out our Volunteer Opportunities page.
