MEET BOLT!
One-year-old Bolt is an affectionate and loving dog who would love nothing more than to be your companion for adventures. Bolt is described by CHS staff as a sweet boy who loves his treats. He is a young pup who has a lot of learning ahead of him so he will need to continue his obedience training at CHS. He will do well in a single-family home or condo. Bolt is a high-energy dog and is looking for a home where he can exercise every day. Being a bully breed means that he will also do best with a family who has bully breed experience. Bolt will do well with children over the age of twelve who are gentle and respectful of pets! If you think you're ready for a bolt of energy to enter your life, Bolt is available in Newington.

About The CT Humane Society:
Way back in 1881, a Hartford High School senior named Gertrude O. Lewis wanted to find a way to help animals of Connecticut. She gathered support in her community – including some of Connecticut’s most prominent citizens of the time – and that very same year, Gertrude founded the Connecticut Humane Society.
And all these years later, the work continues. CHS is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, serving thousands of pets every year. As an independent nonprofit organization, CHS does not receive any funding from the government and is not associated with any national animal welfare groups. The pets rely solely on the generosity and support of donors and volunteers.
