Renee's Adoptables: Meet Bo Bo!

MEET BO BO

Seven-year-old Bo Bo is a relaxed, easy-going dog who would love nothing more than to be your one and only pet. Bo Bo is a certified toy connoisseur and would be happy to hold down the fort for you while you go earn tennis ball money. While he knows how to chill, Bo Bo can also kick it up a notch and enjoys long sniff walks, active hikes, or time in the backyard playing fetch. Bo Bo may not be much of a snuggler, but that just means he'd be the perfect fit for someone who values their personal space—adults would be his pick, but he would also be willing to live with kids over the age of 14, too. If you're looking for a goofy, independent dog to call your number-one pal, he just might be the guy for you!

CHS is an independent nonprofit organization with locations in Newington, Waterford, and Westport and a reduced-fee Fox Memorial Clinic for owned pets, and is not affiliated with the government or any other animal welfare organizations. CHS’ work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.

About The CT Humane Society:

Way back in 1881, a Hartford High School senior named Gertrude O. Lewis wanted to find a way to help animals of Connecticut. She gathered support in her community – including some of Connecticut’s most prominent citizens of the time – and that very same year, Gertrude founded the Connecticut Humane Society.

And all these years later, the work continues. CHS is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, serving thousands of pets every year. As an independent nonprofit organization, CHS does not receive any funding from the government and is not associated with any national animal welfare groups. The pets rely solely on the generosity and support of donors and volunteers.
