Listen to our interview with Alisa D. Sisic, Sr. Manager of Marketing, Air Service Development and Communications at Connecticut Airport Authority/Bradley International Airport to see what's ahead for Bradley International Airport in 2024!

What’s ahead in 2024:

New routes

  • Several new routes launching in 2024, including Cincinnati and Orlando with Breeze Airways and Tampa with Frontier Airlines.
  • Note:
    • Bradley International Airport now has more nonstops than prior to the pandemic.
    • Their airline network includes 11 airlines.
    • Aer Lingus is currently on pause for the winter, returning in March.

Two major projects, which started last year, will see significant progress this year.

  • Inline baggage screening building
  • Vertical circulation project

Upgrade to terminal-wide shopping + dining experience.

  • Several of their retail shops will get a refresh
  • Also introducing a new sit-down restaurant in Concourse 20-30

Reminders:

  • In 2023, Bradley Airport launched CLEAR’s identity verification technology. This technology allows travelers to verify their identity with their eyes and fingers. It’s helping to modernize the travel experience, while maintaining the integrity of the airport's safety and security.
  • Late last year, they launched BDL sPARK – a brand new and unified parking system brand, which includes the parking garage and several surface lots. The name was inspired by the notion that every journey begins with a spark, and parking is often the first step in the airport experience. If you are traveling and parking at BDL, be on the lookout for the “spark.”
