Renee's Adoptables: Meet Gino, Teddy, and Buffy!

Meet Buffy & Teddy!

Buffy is a 13 year old Miniature Poodle and weighs 11lbs. Buffy literally ended up on the streets with her friend Teddy after their owner passed away. Buffy is sweet as sugar and is a great blend of active and calm. She absolutely loves to chase after toys and will get silly and run the fastest zoomies you have ever seen! She gets super excited for her daily walk too. Then she is happy to settle in for pets and a doggy massage. Buffy is bonded to her friend, Teddy, and they want to be adopted into their furever home together.

Teddy is a 15 year old Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle and weighs in at 11lbs. Teddy literally ended up out on the street with his friend Buffy after their owner passed away. Teddy is a sweet, gentle soul who enjoys lots of outdoor sniffing time and loves his daily walks! He is just as happy to snuggle into a soft dog bed for daytime naps. Teddy is bonded to his friend, Buffy, and they want to be adopted into their furever home together.

Teddy and Buffy are looking for a quiet, adult-only home or with gentle teenagers. They are dog friendly and may consider sharing their home with kind, gentle canine roommates. For more information about adopting this senior duo and giving them the retirement home that they deserve, please contact Michelle at michelle.p@poainc.org

Meet Gino!

Well hello there, my name is Gino! I am what some people call a Shorkie (that's a Shih Tzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix!). I am 6 years young and I weigh in at 11lbs. Pardon my long locks, I am scheduled for a spa day soon! Are you looking for a new furry sidekick? Well look no further, you found him, er, me! People are just hands down my favorite thing in the world. I almost enjoy lap time as much as going for walks to explore the great outdoors. I'm a dog friendly kind of guy and wouldn't mind having a canine fur sibling in my new home. Kids? Sure! I'd be happy to live with gentle human siblings 6 years of age and older. If you would like more information about me, please contact my talent agent Beth at beth.b@poainc.org AND please complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org

About Protectors of Animals

Protecting animals and preserving communities.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 no-kill animal shelter and rescue. POA was formed in 1975 to rescue abandoned, abused and stray cats and dogs. Today we are one of the oldest and most respected animal welfare organizations in the northeast. POA is here to stay! You will not find a more dedicated, experienced or thorough resource for improving the lives of Connecticut cats and dogs. We confine our focus to our home state because this is where our infrastructure and resources reside, as well as our leadership.
