TRAFFIC STOP PRACTICE FOR THOSE WITH ASD WHO ARE DRIVERS OR PASSENGERS

Join the SCSU Center of Excellence on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Southern Police, Sacred Heart PD, Fairfield PD, and Westport PD for their "TRAFFIC STOP PRACTICE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH ASD WHO ARE DRIVERS OR PASSENGERS"

Event Details:

WHO?

Drivers must have a current license or learner's permit, car, registration, and insurance. A Support person is welcome to attend.

WHEN?

November, 4th 8 am-12 pm

WHERE?

Sacred Heart University West Campus Fairfield, CT

Participants will have the opportunity to review and practice the process of a routine traffic stop with the local police. They will also learn how to use the DMV "Blue Envelope." Individuals with ASD may either be passengers or drivers in this activity. Participants will need to use their own vehicles for the practice sessions
