Join The Thin Line Peer Support Team for their 1st annual Walk the Line Fundraiser
The Thin Line Peer Support Team currently consists of twelve members ranging from EMTs to Paramedics, Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Dispatchers and Supervisors who have all committed to volunteering their time to provide peer support for first responders.
The team members have all completed a certification course in assisting individuals and groups in crisis on a peer- to- peer level, accredited by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
We have also partnered with a team of mental health clinicians from across the state who specialize in dealing with first responders should additional help be needed. (https://www.thinlinepeersupport.org/about-us)
The event will be held October 21st-22nd and will be held at the Fallen Firefighters Memorial at CT Fire Academy
