Renee's Adoptables: Meet Cookie!

Cookie is a two-year-old spayed female. Cookie is an adorable cat, there's no question there. She is one of our most fierce hunters at the moment and spends her days taking down the infamous ribbon wand toy and the robot bug! Cookie may be small in stature (she's only 5 pounds), but she makes up for that in personality. This little dainty girl is looking for a family to look past her tiny exterior and cater to the warrior she is inside. Cookie needs a family that will dedicate their time to making sure she lives a life filled with hunting (kibble and toys) and ensure she gets plenty of mental stimulation along the way. In order to keep up with her tough personality, Cookie is not a lap cat. She has an image to uphold after all. Instead, she likes to show her affection with drive by rubs and some really nice head butts! If think you are ready to tame this tough cookie, our adoption counselors will be happy to go into more details for anyone interested in adopting.

About CT Humane Society:

Way back in 1881, a Hartford High School senior named Gertrude O. Lewis wanted to find a way to help the animals of Connecticut. She gathered support in her community – including some of Connecticut’s most prominent citizens of the time – and that very same year, Gertrude founded the Connecticut Humane Society.

And all these years later, the work continues. CHS is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, serving thousands of pets every year. As an independent nonprofit organization, CHS does not receive any funding from the government and is not associated with any national animal welfare groups. The pets rely solely on the generosity and support of donors and volunteers.
