Renee's Adoptables: Meet Daisy & Sunny!

Daisy and Sunny are 12 year old Cocker Spaniel mix dogs. Daisy is a 27 lb spayed female and Sunny is a neutered 28 lb male. These two senior peas in a pod are ready to bring pure happiness to your household. Bonded littermates with the sweetest temperaments, they sadly lost their longtime home. Luckily, they have each other and are pleased as punch about it. Among their favorite things in the world: Snoozing side by side multiple times a day; gnawing on the most indestructible of bones; greeting new human friends; and chasing after soccer balls, basketballs, yoga balls … you name it. If you’d like to be able to give them a loving place to chill together for the rest of their years, they would be thrilled to make your acquaintance. Fill out your application at www.poainc.org and email Stefanie.d@poainc.org for more info.

About Protectors of Animals:

Protecting animals and preserving communities.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 no-kill animal shelter and rescue. POA was formed in 1975 to rescue abandoned, abused and stray cats and dogs. Today we are one of the oldest and most respected animal welfare organizations in the northeast. POA is here to stay! You will not find a more dedicated, experienced or thorough resource for improving the lives of Connecticut cats and dogs. We confine our focus to our home state because this is where our infrastructure and resources reside, as well as our leadership.
