St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral will host its 49th Hartford Greek Festival starting Thursday, June 1 and running through Sunday, June 4. In addition to the fabulous food, awaiting the whole family is live music, youth dance performances, cathedral tours, face painting, raffles, vendors, a coffee house, and a taverna with a separate bar, band, and classic tavern app menu on the back patio of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford (860) 956-7586. Rain or shine. Admission is free. 

Join us at the LUNG FORCE Walk on by 9am Saturday, June 3, 2023, the American Lung Association’s signature event to support and promote lung health. Stroll, saunter, or power-walk through Great River Park in East Hartford: all are welcome! Why not take in the beautiful views of the Connecticut River, and Downtown Hartford to support the 34 million Americans suffering from lung diseases.

Saturday it’s the K9 Olympics fundraiser bottle & can drive at the Manchester Congregational Church! 11am to 2pm with K9 demos and more!

New Britain’s Little Poland Festival was first held in 2012 to celebrate Polish culture and heritage and to highlight the city’s Polish neighborhood known as Little Poland. Over the years, the festival has grown from 600 participants to over 20,000! The Little Poland Festival is one of the fastest growing family friendly festivals of its kind in Connecticut. Head over to the FREE event taking place on Broad Street in New Britain, CT on Sunday, June 4th from 9am until 7pm.

The reboot of The Little Mermaid DROWNED the competition last weekend – even surprising Fast ad the Furious fans! In fact studio reps are reportedly flabbergasted over the crushing of the tidal wave of fans that were REELED IN by The Little Mermaid…. “The Little Mermaid” dominated the North American box office Memorial Day weekend, taking in $121 million. With an additional $69 million from the rest of the world, the film made a total of $190 million overall.

The one movie I want to share here with you that I think will make it to the top 5 is the animated Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Part One (June 2) already tracking to debut in the US at around 80 million! starring Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Rachel Dratch, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Jorma Taccone, and Shea Whigham is NOW PLAYING exclusively in theaters take a look!
