Meet Nova! This beautiful girl is not only amazingly sweet, but she is also incredibly smart and just wants to please her pack leader!
Nova is currently in foster and loves going on walks with her foster siblings, but also enjoys some downtime snuggling with her foster mom, or playing with some soft toys.
Being 11 months old, Nova is still trying to figure out her ranks amongst her pack so she may be best being the only dog or with another dog without a strong alpha temperament. Nova tends to do better with males than females. Nova sometimes thinks she's the boss but really is looking to be part of the pack.
Nova is highly treat-motivated, bonds quickly to her people, and absolutely loves to show off her commands.
Nova is spayed and will be brought UTD on her vaccinations.

Founded in 1893, the Meriden Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter and rescue facility. Many of our animals are taken from high-risk situations or surrendered by private citizens who are no longer able to care for their animals.
Our organization is privately run and operated. We are supported by patrons and residents who donate to our facility. Contrary to popular belief, we are not affiliated with the Connecticut Humane Society. Without the help we receive from the citizens of our community and surrounding communities, we would not be able to save all the animals that we do.
