Meet Crosby! The Sweetest Boy Ever!

Meet Crosby

We are all crazy for our boy Crosby!

Meet one of our absolute sweetest seniors ever, Crosby! This amazingly adorable and friendly boy is ready to go home with you! Crosby was rescued from the outside, where he most likely has lived his whole life. Our best guess is that Crosby was dumped at some point, just because he is so stinking sweet and does not have a mean bone in his body.

Crosby got a much needed dental and has a clean bill of health; he is in very good health! Crosby loves getting pets and is serious about his nap time. Honestly there is nothing negative to say about him, he just is such a great boy. Crosby gets along fine with other cats but gets scared if they are mean to him. So Crosby's best home would either be with other friendly/calm cats or him as the only pet.

Due to life on the streets, Crosby tests positive for FIV, which does NOT require daily medications nor impact his quality of life. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is ONLY passed through deep bite wounds between cats and cannot be passed to other animal species or humans. FIV kitties can live with, share food bowls, litter boxes, groom and wrestle with non FIV housemates with no risk of transmission.

Crosby is estimated to about 10-11 years old and qualifies for our senior fee/special needs fee! He is FIV postive and FELV negative, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If yours is the right home for this sweet boy, apply via their website

Meriden Humane Society Animal Rescue

About Meriden Humane Society:

Founded in 1893, the Meriden Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter and rescue facility. Many of our animals are taken from high-risk situations or surrendered by private citizens who are no longer able to care for their animals.

Our organization is privately run and operated. We are supported by patrons and residents who donate to our facility. Contrary to popular belief, we are not affiliated with the Connecticut Humane Society. Without the help we receive from the citizens of our community and surrounding communities, we would not be able to save all the animals that we do.
