Meet Bean and Chickpea!

Meet Bean and Chickpea!

DOB 11/15/22 (estimate)

Meet the bean-ie babies! This litter of seven is super cute, playful, and well socialized.

Bean is very sweet and playful! He is snuggly like his siblings, just a perfect little dude!

Chickpea is a tiny girl who was so dirty when she arrived at BCC. She's all cleaned up and sooooo sweet.

Chickpea has cerebellar hypoplasia. In cerebellar hypoplasia, which occurs not only in cats, but also humans, dogs, cows, and many other mammal species, the cerebellum is underdeveloped from birth, leading to various symptoms of motor dysfunction.

Feline cerebellar hypoplasia is not a painful condition, nor is it contagious. Fortunately, cerebellar hypoplasia does not get worse over time. The condition will also not improve over time. However, most kittens learn to adapt as they age and can live happy healthy lives. Her status is not severe and she gets around fine - just slightly wobbly.

Bean loves his sister Chickpea so they need a home together. They are very socialized and having cat companionship will help keep them entertained, out of trouble (ish), and learn manners.

Please help us find these kittens a home! https:/branford compassion club.org/learn/adoption/

About Branford Compassion Club

Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, Connecticut, but surrounding communities. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.

Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.
