Here is our interview with Sandy Sanchez of Frida West Hartford

Frida's Story

Before Sandra (Sandy) Sanchez got her start out as the founder of Frida Restaurant she worked as an assistant teacher at Charter Oak Elementary school. Moving from Colombia to the United States came with its challenges as she worked in countless places doing a variety of jobs. Through her experience in different food services positions, she began honing in on and improving her customer service while finding a love for not only cooking but a special connection to Mexican food and culture.

After falling in love with the idea of showcasing the beauty of Mexican cuisine and a new business venture, Frida soon came to be a restaurant where all nationalities come together and experience and enjoy Mexican cuisine.

The devotion she and her team have to Frida will create an unforgettable experience for each guest. The countless hours, energy, and knowledge being put into everything she does will have each guest leaving as family.
