Meet Maple, the Energetic and Playful Pup!

Meet Maple!

Info:

Not good with cats

Needs experienced adopter

Shots current

Spayed / Neutered

Housetrained

Maple is a striking approximately 2-year-old heeler mix female who weighs 60 lbs and is full grown. She was left in a pound and unclaimed, and we can't understand why someone wouldn't want this beautiful girl.

Maple is dog-selective and energetic so not all dogs appreciate her bully play style, and she is good with respectful older children (12+). She has not been tested with cats but we think it's a no due to her strong prey drive. Maple should live with a calm male dog or no other dogs. She is housebroken and crate trained and her foster reports that she has wonderful house manners and loves to snuggle. She would be happy to play all day! So she should go to a home prepared to regularly exercise her to burn that energy.

Maple is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped so she is ready when you are!

About the Woof Gang:

The Woof Gang was founded in Fall 2018 by an animal lover and a group of dedicated friends. After adopting her first rescue dog Mikey, one of our founders was blown away by how amazing and gentle he was, and she realized that if the rescue group she got him from had not saved him, he would have likely been put to sleep in an overcrowded shelter, never given the chance to live his best dog life. This motivated one of our founders to volunteer for a local rescue, where she fell in love with 7,054 more dogs and had her heart broken at least 47 times.

During this journey of volunteering, she stumbled across several other like-minded and big-hearted women doing the same damn thing. Giving up weekends and evenings to clean up pee, meet with adopters and coax scared, dirty dogs out of crates to convince them that it’s all love from here on out.

With a small group of experienced and excited volunteers, we formed The Woof Gang and we’re on a mission to save more dog lives. Dogs like Mikey who spent his whole life being the best doggo, to show his gratitude for being rescued. He always looked great in purple, which is why The Woof Gang wears that color proudly.
