Meet a Beautiful Bonded Pair - Howard+Nora
A truly bonded pair, currently living in a foster home in Plymouth.
Two healthy young cats who are acting like teenagers in love.
Howard was part of the cutest litter. He watched his siblings go to their forever homes months ago, but you know what they say....save the best for last! His foster family isn't complaining because he's just the easiest sweetest baby. He fits right in! Howard is friendly, cuddly, playful, and of course completely litter trained ;) When I think of Howie I think of the perfect gentleman. He truly gives off chivalrous vibes.
Nora came to her foster home painfully shy. She will remind you of the shy kid in the class that hangs back and watches all the other kids play. Howard is the kid who can't bare to see anyone left out and went out of his way to make friends with Nora. Howard has taken Nora under his wing and has shown her that being a kitten in this foster home with these .... humans... isn't so bad after all! He shares his food, toys and even his comfy bed with her. They play constantly. I like to think that Howard rescued Nora and now we just need someone special to rescue them both! They truly have an unbreakable bond. My kids say that Nora is Howard's wife. Whatever you call their bond, watching them together has been incredibly beautiful to see.
We are hoping to find a special family to accept them both! Even though they are bonded Howard spends lots of time with his foster family too! You get all the benefits of a super-friendly cat with a side dish of striped cuteness.
Nora prefers cats over humans her foster mom can totally relate ;) She
has made tremendous progress and with patience, we believe she will continue to improve her opinion of humans.
Though she may be very shy, there is not a fresh bone in this sweet girl's body. Even at her shyest point, she has never ever been aggressive! We're looking for someone who can accept her for the sweetie she is and help her out of her shell more and more. Cats are like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get. When rescuing these babies they all come from different hardships and in a perfect world they would all be lap cats but unfortunately, that's just not the case. These cats deserve a loving home just the same.
Benefits of this pair:
If you work long hours you don't ever have to feel guilty! No separation anxiety because they have each other.
They are a bonded pair but Howard is still very interested in his person/people so you still get a cuddly cat.
You are rescuing not one life but two, Nora needs Howard, and Howard has taken his job as her protector very seriously ... do you have space for one more? ... AND we offer a multiple-cat discount.
Cats are like potato chips you can never have just one!
Possible good fits:
A person, couple or family with older children who agree that separating these two would be cruel.
They both have been around other cats, a dog and older kids.
A secured home, Nora would never leave her hubby behind but if frightened enough she may try and escape secondary(storm) doors and screened windows.
Howard was born around April 2022 and Nora was born around March 2022. They are
fixed, have had their rabies and first distemper shots, are microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV* All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Application for adoption can be found here!
