Meet the Highland Mama Who Deserves Her Forever Home!

Meet Highland Mama

Meet Highland a small and beautiful female approximately 2 years old. This small girl was found in a feral colony. She has grown a long way in her short time with us at Foster and Forever. Highland is hesitant about people's approach but enjoys being moved to her foster parents' chests and scratched behind the ears. Has little purrs that sound like a cross between a popcorn machine and dirt bike. She is slowly coming out of her shell and has started to bait her foster brother into playing. Highly motivated by food and will never turn down a treat. Loves her cat tower and being high in the sky as well as little nooks to snuggle into.

Highland is liter box trained and easy to manage. Doesn't even mind getting her nails trimmed. Never has even hissed or scratched at her foster parents.

Due to her time in the feral colony, Highland would do well in a home with other cats. She approaches and plays with her foster brother as he allows and is respectful of his boundaries. Highland's personality is developing more and more due to the interactions with her foster brother and she would continue to thrive in a home with other friendly cats that could continue to help her acclimate to house life.

She is currently being fostered in Middletown. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Highland is FIV + but with a loving indoor home, has the potential to live a very normal and happy kitty life.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Application for adoption can be found here.
