West Hartford Animal Control Officer to be Honored

Every year The Bark Twain Bash, It’s the Cat’s Meow recognizes an Animal Control Officer who has gone above and beyond to help not only their department, but provides additional professional assistance, support and compassion to the City of Hartford Animal Control. In fact not only does this years recipient come highly praised by ACO DeGenova, but many other surrounding communities look up to and respect Animal Control Officer Kimberly Gulino of the West Hartford Police Department, this years choice for Animal Control Officers’ Excellence in Service Award.

Assistant Animal Control Officer Kimberly Gulino has been with the West Hartford Police Department since 2019. Prior to joining the department, she served as an Animal Control Officer for the Town of Farmington and also gained previous experience working with animals in multiple other capacities to include working as Veterinary Technician and volunteering for non-profit organizations geared toward farm animals. When not on duty, AACO Gulino enjoys spending time with her family and her newest addition, Barry, a Wire-Haired Miniature Dachshund. Officer Gulino looks forward to serving the Town of West Hartford residents and animals for many years to come.

Please show your support and attend this fun night celebrating the Arts and Animals!
