The 50th Annual Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade
The goal of the Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is to produce a quality event that celebrates the heritage of Connecticut’s Irish and Irish Americans and that can be enjoyed and appreciated by its thousands of participants and tens of thousands of spectators. In anticipation of the Saturday forecast, it is the committee’s determination that its goal could not be achieved in heavy rains and that the safety of our participants might be compromised. For those reasons, the parade has officially been postponed and will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 19th, 2022.
The Parade Committee’s Annual Parade Mass will also be postponed and celebrated, at 7:00 PM on Friday March 18th at St Patrick St Anthony Church in Hartford. The Parade Committee would like to acknowledge the cooperation of the City of Hartford, FOX61, our sponsors and parade participants in adapting to this change and looks forward to a great day on Saturday the 19th.
