This weekend is filled with Holiday Lights & Celebrations!! And lots of movies in theaters and streaming too!
Lets start with the movies, there’s a lot! Now the big holiday debate is if Bruce Willis in Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not…I say no - while my husband and many others YES. What I can tell you is Bruces new movie IS NOT A HOLIDAY MOVIE and it opens this weekend, it’s called Deadlock and is far to violent for me to share a clip. If you’re a Bruce fan then its filled with all the action, fights and adult situations you can handle. He plays a father who avenges his sons death and there are no rules, also he is not the good guy in this and neither was his son. No thank you.
Now one movie I really want to share with you was just recently released on Netflix called A Boy Called Christmas with Henry Lawfull, Maggie Smith,Kristen Wiig and so many recognizable faces! An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny. This is really great for the whole family!
Santa and Mrs Claus will be working overtime this and every weekend until Christmas!!! And from Holiday Lights Fantasia to benefit the Channel 3 Kids Camp, The Magic of Lights at Rentschler Field and Holiday lights at Lake Compounce, 6 Flags and more there’s a ton of Holiday activity for you and your family!!!
How would you like hot cocoa and a story read to you by SANTA??? STORYTELLING & SELFIES WITH SANTA & MRS CLAUS, 1:00-3:00PM. Santa and Mrs Claus will visit The Shops at Yale and read stories to children for the first hour from 1:00-2:00pm, followed by selfies with families from 2:00-3:00pm. Free and open to the public.
