iHeartRadio has partnered with the CT Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and the Connecticut Patriot Guard Riders in support of the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown on December 18, 2021. This annual event brings together Veterans Organizations and hundreds of volunteers to place memorial holiday wreaths at each Veteran’s headstone.
The wreaths are available for sponsorship at $15 per wreath with proceeds from all wreath sales supporting the Veterans Cemetery Perpetual Care Trust Fund. Wreaths can be purchased through the DVA Board of Trustees official portal at: https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/CT0115P
UPDATE
Just a short note to update you on the progress of Wreath purchases so far. As of November 19, 2021 we have accomplished approx 2/3rds of our goal of 13,500. We are at the 9000 mark with days left to order your wreaths. With a little additional push, I believe we can reach our goal of covering both CT State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, and Col Gates Cemetery in Rocky Hill.
