Hartford Marathon Foundation, Inc.is a not for profit organization whose mission is to promote healthy living through fitness and physical activity for people of all ages, abilities, ethnicities, gender identities, orientations and experience levels, and to use HMF events to support charity, sustainability, tourism and economic growth in communities.
Hartford Marathon Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in 1994.
The Hartford Marathon Foundation supports charities throughout the region at many of the race events we produce. We have rallied thousands of participants and volunteers to “run for good” and each year, charities associated with HMF events raise over $500,000 through our runs.LEARN MORE
The largest HMF charity program is part of the Eversource Hartford Marathon and we are proud of the many generous athletes who use the marathon, half marathon, Team 26.2 relay or Charity 5K as a fundraiser for a cause that matters in their lives.
