We’ve all had the experience of driving responsibly one minute, then a song comes on that gives you a rush of energy, and the next minute, you're driving over the speed limit. It turns out that what you’re listening to has a big effect on your behavior behind the wheel.

Research suggests music over 120 beats per minute can encourage drivers to speed and make sudden lane changes, with one study finding that music is a factor in about a quarter of traffic accidents. Researchers with HelloMillions analyzed Spotify’s 100 most-streamed songs, scoring them for BPM, energy, danceability, volume, spoken content, and lyrics to find the ones most likely to get drivers going faster. These are the 10 songs most likely to get drivers speeding.
