Back in 1975, the rock band KISS made music history in the small town of Cadillac, Michigan. The band rolled into town for a homecoming celebration, performed in the high school gym, and even landed their helicopter on the football field — leaving locals with memories they’d never forget.
Now, 50 years later, Cadillac is rocking again with the KISS50 Celebration. The town has planned months of KISS-themed fun, including a self-guided tour of historic spots, a special museum exhibit, and local shops serving up rock-inspired treats.
The festivities all lead up to the big anniversary weekend, October 9–12, featuring a themed football game, drone show, 5K run, glow-in-the-dark skating, and more. It’s a perfect way to relive one of rock’s most unexpected — and unforgettable — moments.
