If you need inspiration for your Easter basket this year, Food & Wine just dropped Instacart's 2024 data on the most popular Easter candies, and no surprise here, chocolate remains on top!
Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs took the top spot this season, beating out all the competition. Right behind them are the classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Lastly, in third are my personal favorite, Cadbury Mini Eggs. They're so addicting!
Surprisingly, marshmallow Peeps, once an Easter favorite, didn’t even make the list this year. That said, cities like Boston and Philadelphia can't keep them in stock!
Other standout sweets include Starburst Jelly Beans and the iconic Lindt Chocolate Bunny. Regional preferences brought some surprises too. San Francisco loves Justin’s organic Peanut Butter Cups, while New York enjoys Cadbury Milk Chocolate Bars.
So whether you're team chocolate or team sweets, there's no shortage of festive candy to fill your Easter basket!
