The Annual Taste of Wethersfield Benefit Returns on Saturday, April 6th

We spoke with Amy Northrop Wittorff, Executive Director of the Wethersfield Historical Society, and Alex P. Taylor, Foodie Trend Expert, about the XVIth Annual Taste of Wethersfield benefit on Saturday, April 6th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm in the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center.

Once again, the Keeney Center will come alive with the flavors and aromas of the area’s finest food and drink. Past participants have included Ascot, Café Louise, The Charles, Wood ‘n’ Tap, Carbone’s Prime, and many other local favorites.

Ross Tucker and the Hot Cat Jazz Band have already been engaged to provide the evening’s musical entertainment. The process of “Taste” remains the same: Attendees pay one admission and can try offerings from several local restaurants, caterers, breweries, and wine vendors, all under one roof. Samples of signature dishes and beverages are available at every station. Throughout the evening, a silent auction is conducted, offering guests the opportunity to bid on unique goods and services from local vendors.

Community Access's Renee DiNino will be co-hosting the event along with the Nacho King of Connecticut, Alex P. Taylor, to keep the festivities rolling all evening long.
