Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Lady J

Meet Lady J an adorable eight-year-old German Shepherd is ready for the adventure of a lifetime in your home! Lady J came to CHS in July from a rescue partner. From the moment she met the CHS team, she was happy and wagging her tail! She has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite!

She will be an excellent fit for a single-family home or condo due to her size. She weighs approximately 68 pounds of pure love! She loves to soak up all the attention and would love to be the only pet in your home. Lady J will be a fantastic companion for teenagers and adults who are gentle and respectful of pets.

Don't let this senior gal fool you! She is a calm girl with bursts of energy! She will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise every day! She is the sweetest girl who wants to bask in your love for the holiday season.

While she does have some special needs, she has plenty of love to give. An adoption counselor will be happy to go over Lady J's needs and personality when you meet her. If you're ready to snuggle and experience unconditional love with Lady J, she is available in Waterford.
