Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Marley

Meet Marley a six-year-old Labrador Retriever Mix! He will do well in a single-family home, with condos and apartments considered.

He will be an excellent fit for a home with adults and teens who have experience with large and rambunctious dogs. Marley is called a gentle giant by the staff here at CHS. He weighs approximately 83 pounds and loves to snuggle up for a good belly rub.

Don't let his calm demeanor fool you as he is a high energy dog that will do well in a home where he can get plenty of exercise every day. While he hasn't had much experience sharing his home with another cat or dog, he may be willing to live with a dog-savvy feline or another large and high-energy dog. Marley is a pawsome dog with plenty of potential, he will be a great fit for a family who is familiar with positive reinforcement training.

If you're in love with Marley and his love of adventure, he is available in Newington. See more at CThumane.org/adopt, or come visit in person.
