SPAM & Dr. Seuss Join Forces for a “Green Eggs and Ham” Treat

Here’s a 2025 collab that’s as unexpected as it is fun—SPAM and Dr. Seuss! To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the beloved book Green Eggs and Ham, SPAM is releasing a limited-edition Green Eggs and SPAM can, arriving at Walmart stores starting August 12th.

The can features a bright orange label inspired by the book’s original cover, and SPAM has even created an official Green Eggs and SPAM recipe to go with it—perfect for a fun breakfast with the kids!

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Classic, sliced
  • 2 cups packed baby spinach
  • 1 cup packed fresh parsley leaves
  • 3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook SPAM® slices for 3–5 minutes until browned.
  2. In a food processor, blend spinach, parsley, and cheese until finely chopped.
  3. With the processor running, drizzle in olive oil and blend until smooth.
  4. Add salt to the beaten eggs, then stir in 1/4 cup of the spinach mixture.
  5. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add eggs and cook, stirring, until done to your liking.
  6. Serve the green eggs with the crispy SPAM® slices on the side.

Whether you're a longtime Seuss fan or just love a quirky food moment, this collab is a flavorful way to bring a classic story to life.
