Annual Pet Food Drive to help Animal Shelters
Let's help out our furry friends this paw-liday season! Presents for Paws is hosting their 14th Annual Holiday Shelter Drive on Saturday December, 11th 2021 to collect items for local animal shelters. There are two drop off locations: John Gagnon’s Pet Resort – 227 Upton Road, Colchester, and Shagbark Lumber – 21 Mt. Parnassus Rd, East Haddam. Items needed: Purina dog food (wet/dry, unopened), cat/kitten food (wet/dry, any brand, unopened), cat/dog treats (no rawhide), and cat litter. Monetary donations are also appreciated - they are tax deductible and 100% of your donations go to help shelter animals.
Event is rain or shine. If you cannot make it to one of the drop off locations, please consider shopping our wishlist (www.presentsforpaws.org) and your purchase will be delivered right to our door. Last year we collected over 3,800 lbs of food and supplies, please help us reach a new record!
