Hi, I'm Bella! I am a 7 year old German Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier mix (my DNA test showed that I am mostly German Shepherd, but have my fair share of Pittie, Boxer, and Rottweiler in my mix - what can I say, I am a super mutt!). By the way, I am a perfect size at 70lbs. I sadly lost my home when my owner passed away and I am looking for my happily-ever-after. My "uncle" was super kind and boarded me for 5 months trying to find me a home, then the awesome folks at Protectors of Animals took me in. It's been great spending time with them, but after a total of 7 months living in a kennel, I am sooooooo ready for my furever home!
I am super sweet and have "the Shepherd lean" down pat - I LOVE attention and especially enjoy being brushed! Tennis balls are the best part of my day - I am in heaven engaging in a good game of fetch and will proudly trot back to you to deliver the tennis ball for its next toss! I would so loooooooove a fenced in yard so I can run around and kick up my heels. Long walks are number 1 in my book and as a bonus, I have very nice leash manners. Housebroken you ask? Yes, 100%. I would be very happy to share my home with dog savvy children 10 years and older (I can be quite exuberant at times and would not want to knock over any little humans). No cats for me please and I will be happiest as the only dog in my new home.
