When it comes to this girl’s love, the sky’s the limit! Skylar is a 5 year old Maltese/poodle mix who weighs 14 pounds. Skylar has special needs and requires a wheelchair, but she is a resilient pup who has lots of love to give. Skylar has a medium energy level. Although she does need a wheelchair for her back end, she is a happy go lucky girl who enjoys being outside as much as inside. You haven't seen anything until you have seen Skylar's wheelchair zoomies. If it were an Olympic sport, she would bring home the gold every time. Skylar loves everyone she meets! She has been in homes with other dogs, kids and even cats! She would blossom in a household that is quieter, where she can get all the love and attention she craves! Skylar is working on crate and leash training. She uses doggie diapers to help her to potty where she needs to. She is a trooper and continues to be so. A go getter like Skylar isn't about quitting and her family will gladly put in the work to help her succeed. She will thrive in a home that provides a stable environment in providing her with the time, patience and commitment to her special needs. What is also special about her is her incredible capacity to love and be loved. She will be your one and only for cuddling. Skylar’s adoption fee is $250. This includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transport fees.
