Senator Blumenthal speaks with Renee about Tropical Storm Henri and its impact in and around Connecticut, getting vaccinated, the booster, FDA approval for vaccines, the importance of nursing home and caregivers getting vaccinated. He also discusses troop removal from Afghanistan and climate control.

This is a must listen interview. Senator Blumenthal is very honest about his feelings and answers all questions and even uncharacteristically quotes former President Trump on the importance of getting vaccinated after the FDA showed concern of may people using a drug meant for animals.

FDA Approves Pfizer's COVID Vaccine

Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine is getting full approval from the FDA. It's the first COVID vaccine to be approved by regulators. Pfizer developed the shots in partnership with BioNTech, a German biotech company. The Acting FDA Commissioner hailed the vaccine's approval. Dr. Janet Woodcock called today's announcement a "milestone." The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been given to millions of Americans under emergency use authorization since last December. Individuals 12 and older are able to get the shots.
