Rocky is looking fierce with his new lion haircut! But he’s got a heart of gold and loves attention from people—so much so, that he doesn’t want you to leave and will get cranky if you walk away! This handsome 4-year-old kitty wasn’t feeling great when he arrived at the Connecticut Humane Society. His long fur was matted and full of knots, and he was shy and nervous with all the changes in his life. A local groomer volunteered to give him a new hairdo to relieve him of his discomfort, and he feels much better now. He’s come out of his shell tremendously and has enjoyed having an adoption room to himself at CHS. He will need lots of brushing in his new home to keep his long fur healthy as it grows back, and would like a family with previous cat experience who can be patient as he settles in. If there are kiddos in the home, they should be 14 and up, and he’d love to be the only pet (did we mention he wants lots of attention?).
