- NESS SEA AmeriCorps is a program of the New England Science & Sailing organization located in Stonington, CT.
- NESS SEA AmeriCorps uses in-school mentoring coupled with STEM-focused afterschool adventure education to build student self-esteem and self-confidence and improve their engagement in school.
- Each year, NESS SEA AmeriCorps recruits up to 16 AmeriCorps members to serve students in New London County.
- NESS SEA AmeriCorps AmeriCorps members receive adventure-related training and certification in: lifeguarding, safe powerboating, sailing, and kayaking
