Simon is hoping to be adopted byâŚ.another dog! This shy 5-month-old pup didnât have much socialization or training before arriving at the Connecticut Humane Society, and he basically isnât sure how to be a puppy. After having playdates with other CHS dogs, Simon has grown much more confident and comfortable around people. CHSâ behavior team has also helped him by making him an âoffice helperâ where he can watch humans around him and learn they are friends when they toss him treats. Simon must go to a home where there is another dog, and his ideal family would have experience with shy dogs. Since heâs a puppy, he will need training and lots of exercise. If there are youngsters in the home, they should be 10 and up, and understand they need to go slow with Simon as he gets used to them.
